Welcome from the Chair
Assalamu Alaikum/Peace be upon you!
As Chair of Governors, I am both humbled and honoured to be part of this outstanding organisation. I am humbled as the Chair of Governors, because on a daily basis, I see and experience the tremendous sacrifice and efforts the staff of the school put in on behalf of our students and their parents/carers.
I am also honoured to be part of this outstanding organisation that provides a transformational experience for young men from deprived backgrounds. Over the years, I have witnessed them blossom and emerge as capable, confident young men who can go on and achieve great things.
As well as the pursuit of academic excellence, it is also heartening to see so many of our young men involved in charity and community service. Quite rightly, the school takes a lot of time to prepare our students to become active citizens and positive role models ready to take up their role in society and make a personal contribution to society’s wellbeing.
This year is another huge milestone for the school. It is great that we have our new TB6 opening in our tenth anniversary of the school opening. TIBHS first opened its doors in September 2012 – what a remarkable journey it has been!
