TIBHS Secures National Support School Status

We are thrilled to announce that, having been awarded Ofsted Outstanding status following our 2014 inspection, TIBHS has now achieved National Support School status. This means the school has the opportunity to play a key role in supporting other schools to deliver positive outcomes for children and young people.

Staff from the school will work with other schools to promote system-wide improvement, and there will be opportunities for other schools to visit TIBHS to see how their systems and structures, outstanding teaching practice and effective leadership contribute to pupils’ attainment and well-being.

Becoming a National Support School offers TIBHS the chance to be at the forefront of shaping best practice, in the local area and beyond.

Newly-designated National Leader of Education, Mubaaruck Ibrahim, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded National Support School status and we look forward to working with other schools to improve educational outcomes for children and young people across the region.”
