In exploring the power of words through descriptive writing, persuasive writing, poetry, the study of spoken language and the development of presentation skills, students at TIBHS are offered a rich programme of English study.

In assessing linguistic development and evolution, contrasting attitudes, approaches and prejudices surrounding accent, the history of the English language is thoroughly examined.
