TIBHS’ Senior Leadership Team recognised at Educate Awards

We have a new award to add to our trophy cabinet following last Friday’s Educate Awards.

Our Senior Leadership Team brought home the Leadership Team of the Year award in recognition of their hard work and dedication over the last 12 months.

We are delighted that the efforts of our Senior Leadership Team have been recognised at the Educate Awards, the biggest celebration of education in the North West.

Our Principal Mubaaruck Ibrahim said, “It’s a great honour to have won this award. It’s testament to all the hard work of our students, governors, trustees, staff, parents, our leadership team and the wider community. I see the award as a collective effort and a tremendous accolade.”

The Educate Awards, held in Liverpool cathedral on Friday 17 November, showcased excellence in schools, academies and colleges across Liverpool, Cheshire and Lancashire. Aside from the awards presentation, on the evening groups from shortlisted schools gave stunning music, dance, theatre and poetry performances.

TIBHS was also shortlisted for the Most Inspirational Secondary School award at the Educate Awards. Other winners across 21 categories included fellow Lancashire school The Hollins Technology College which took home the Wow Recognition award.
